A perfect shopping trip

At home, you add a few more items to your list then  print your list and gather the items that are printed under the “Returns” department on your list. It's getting late in the evening, but your list tells you the store is open till 9PM, so you don't have to rush .

At the store, you follow your list's pre-planned route through the store. All your items are grouped by department, so you can easily find them. You compare prices with your list's notes for each item, then check off each item as you place it in the cart.

You get a phone call from a friend, but  your phone battery dies .... and now your glad your list is on paper.

When looking at radios in the Electronics department you review your list's notes about features and prices (which you researched at home on the internet), and are happy you made notes in your list. Now you are going to get the right radio with the features you want, at a price you know is good.

Your list has planned your route through the store so shopping goes quickly (i.e. you don't wander around looking for things) . The last items on your list are in the refrigerated and frozen sections (thanks to your list's pre-planned route) so nothing will thaw or spoil before you get home.

At the checkout counter, your list has a “Checkout”section that reminds you to pick up the magazine and ice cubes that your husband wanted. It also has “Coupon” icons by all the items that you have a coupon for.

At home, after you have put away all the items, you open your list with your shopping organizer and click a few items:

• items you did not get (they were out of stock).
• two items “to be returned” because they were defective out of the box.
• You click once, and all the checked items are moved to a new list for your next trip.

 

Several months later, the camera you bought does not work. You open your shopping organizer and enter “Camera” into the History feature, and within a couple clicks you know when and where you purchased the camera. From the History feature you know it is still under warranty!  You click the "Camera" and send it to your next trip list as a "Return" item.
